My main goal for today’s work is to complete at least 2 synced audio and footage clips answering the questions given to me during the filming task. I also need to export my final piece to WordPress. The equipment I will be using is: Apple Mac, USB stick and Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018. I need to use editing skills and skills needed to properly use Premiere. I will need to research how to create a title for my work.

My source showed me how to add a title to my Premiere video. I was then able to successfully add a title to my work.
I also had to research how to add a music bed , I used YouTube to do this too.

Production:
I had trouble adding my audio transition because after I added it the clap sound in my audio track came back. I edited it out again but then my transition disappeared, I realised I had to edit it out and re-add the transition. Firstly I started a new sequence with my audio clip by right clicking and selecting ‘new sequence from clip’. I then dragged my footage to the bar on top of the audio (leaving a bar for the camera audio to make sequencing and matching up easier.) I assessed which audio was better and chose the recorded audio clip.
I added the audio by dragging the clip from my media onto the A2 bar (secondary audio). 
I lined up when I wanted both the audio and the clip to begin (in order to sync the audio correctly) using the clap noise in the beginning. Both the camera and audio picked this up and produced a spike which I could easily line up.
I then begun to add effects to my video, including a visual transition, an audio transition, an audio and visual effect.
I adjusted each effect to achieve the final effect that I wanted.
Finally I added a music bed which I downloaded from a site for free as an mp3 file. I added an audio fade effect to match up with the end of the video, I also edited the volume of the track so it wasn’t louder than the dialogue audio.
To finish my piece off, I exported it as an mp4 file to upload it to my YouTube after making sure there were no extra bits of video or audio at the end of the sequence.
Finally I uploaded it to my YouTube, added a description and chose a suitable thumbnail.

I did achieve my main goal and I also achieved what I set out to do. My work today has required me to alter plans for my lesson on the 21st of September 2018 because I didn’t manage to finish the video in time. I will use my time more effectively next time. To prepare for next time I need to plan out what I’m gonna do and how long each task should take, so that I don’t spend too much time or too little time on one task. I like the music bed in my video, I think it adds a level of professionalism and works well with the audio. I think next time I would make it longer and try to record some footage with suitable audio and try to be more experimental with effects.
